Getting to and from Midhurst is easy by car, by train, by bus and by bike!

Travel by car

Midhurst lies on the iconic and beautiful A272 about half way between the vibrant market town of Petersfield and the cobbled streets of the beautiful Market town of Petworth

Travel By Train and Bus

Midhurst has no train line but is well served by bus routes sitting between the train stations at Haslemere and Chichester..


From Haslemere Train Station take a taxi from the station Car park or No. 70 bus from opposite the station
From Chichester Train Station take a No. 60 Bus from outside the Cathedral at Cathedral (Stop C2) or from the Main Bus station. The top floor is best for some beautiful views.
From Petersfield Train Station take a No. 91 Bus or No. 92 Bus

There is also a Bus service (No.1) from Midhurst to Worthing passing through Petworth, Pulborough and Storrington. Pulborough Train station provides a helpful connection to Gatwick Airport.

If you are walking or cycling the South Downs Way, then the No. 60 Bus can pick you up from the South Downs Way stop in Cocking.
