Drummer Sam Kelly’s 40-year CV: Dr. John, Robert Plant, Chaka Khan, Gary Moore, Imelda May, Eddie Floyd. Musical director for BBC’s Soul Britannia at the Barbican. Five-piece Station House, formed in early-90s West London, plays blues-based groove with funk mechanics: New Orleans second line, soul, jazz. Rowena Poole fronts. Documentary Getting It Back returned them to international stages. Paul Jones rates them among Britain’s finest.!
