A traditional pub 17th century pub in the heart of the old town, run by a local family serving very generous portions of great family favourites at family friendly prices.

We are dog and children-friendly with an outside courtyard garden that catches the evening sun. Our darts teams are a part of the local league, we have a fruity we show great sport and have a real fire to help you feel cosy on those cold winter nights.. We serve traditional ales, lagers, cocktails and a range of 'retro shots'.

Emma also loves to create magnificent and generous buffets, tailored to the individual needs of the clients from around the area - they are somewhat of a ledgend.
