Petworth

Head to Petworth and delight in Petworth House’s outstanding collection of Old Masters, then wander around the glorious gardens and the Deer Park before discovering the many antique shops and independent retailers for which Petworth is so well-known. Chichester and Arundel

Both villages have beautiful stone bridges across the River Rother and Iping was the setting for the start of HG Wells’ ‘The Invisible Man’. Stedham and Iping Commons also provide wonderful walking.
