Chichester District Council is proud to have funded this website for the benefit of the residents and businesses in Midhurst.
The district council covers an area of 303 square miles, including Chichester, Midhurst, Petworth and Selsey. It provides over 80 different services, including waste and recycling; housing; planning; environmental health; and business support.
Chichester District Council also provides a ‘Supporting You’ service to assist those who are struggling with cost-of-living pressures. The majority of services can be accessed through their website.
The council also has its own app, which can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. It provides residents with personalised updates and notifications on their waste and recycling collections. This means that if you have your notifications switched on, they can let you know if their crews are running late, and it allows them to notify you of planned changes to collections. The app also allows you to view your personalised waste and recycling dates and provides recycling advice; complete ‘Report It’ forms for issues such as street cleaning and fly tipping; and to request a new bin. You can also view local food hygiene ratings for restaurants and cafes and find your nearest facilities, such as recycling centres, car parks and public toilets. You can find out more about the Chichester Card App on Chichester District Council’s website.
To keep in touch with the latest news and events from the district, you can sign up to Chichester District Council’s monthly email newsletter ‘initiatives+’; read the latest news on their website; or follow them on Instagram or Facebook.
