A magical evening. Join us as we journey through time and place to New York, 1958. The Half Note Supper Club – on the corner of Hudson and Spring Street – opens its doors for one night only. Italian restaurant, jazz club, downtown New York, the supper, the music, the candlelight. Chianti bottles, garlic and tomato in the air. Suddenly a quartet leans into a slow jazz blues. Brylcreem catches the light. Stocking seams run straight. Cutlery chimes against the walking bass – a roll of the drums and suddenly, as if from nowhere, a singer steps up to the mic, and the first note lands in your chest before your brain catches up. The horn climbs. The whole place lifts. And suddenly, it’s midnight… This is going to be fun!
