We invite you to experience a perfect blend of timeless sophistication, warm hospitality and fine dining. Our vision behind The Swan was to bring our 15th century coaching Inn into the 21st century. Traditional Tudor oak beams & wonky floor boards meet vibrant colours & contemporary interior, in a warm and inviting environment. Not only are we a few minutes from Cowdray Ruins, Goodwood Motor and Horse tracks, Midhurst is also the home of Polo and the Gold Cup is an event not to be missed!

Here at The Swan Inn we work closely with Harvey's, a family-owned brewery in East Sussex that produces award-winning beers. We have the highest Cask Marque beer quality rating, so a pint of Harvey’s Best is not to be missed!
Our carefully chosen wine list showcases the best wines from all around the world, as well as our award winning local sparkling wines.
The Swan also offers original cocktails created by our in-house mixologists, who are always on hand to produce any cocktails to your liking. Make sure you try a Midhurst Mule cocktail!

Savour exquisite dining in our restaurant, where culinary delights meet artistic presentation. On warm days eat Al Fresco and enjoy our seasonal menu and in the winter sit by our log burner whilst enjoying your Sunday Roast! We are extremely lucky to work with amazing Chefs, well on their way to earning The Swan Inn its first Rosette!
