Situated by Lawns polo fields and within walking distance of Cowdray Ruins, the Cowdray Farm Shop, Café & Lifestyle is a thriving business at the heart of the Estate. The Farm Shop prides itself on local sourcing, seasonality, and sustainability. This ethos is also reflected in the food on the menu at the Café. With friendly, welcoming staff, table service, and barista made coffees, the Café serves breakfast, snacks and substantial homemade meals both inside and on the extensive terrace outside.


In the Farm Shop, the butchery sells Estate reared Aberdeen Angus beef, lamb sheparded by partner farmers on the South Downs and award-winning wild Estate venison, offering customers the finest selection of meat to choose from. The Deli is well known for stocking the best local, British and continental cheeses as well as a range of premium quality charcuterie. Our talented bakers are always hard at work creating a popular range of sweet treats, puddings, savoury pies and quiches. The team also work with highly respected local producers and the shop is overflowing with fresh fruit, vegetables and array of carefully sourced premium quality produce.
