DESCRIPTION:Guided Walk\n\n\n\n\n\nFind out the history of local casualties and the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.\nThe Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) is offering tours of Easebourne (St Mary’s) Churchyard\, Carron Lane Cemetery & Lodsworth (St Peter’s) Churchyard as part of the MADhurst Festival with Phil Stringer as your guide.\nThe free guided tours will give people in Midhurst\, Easebourne & Lodsworth the chance to discover the remarkable stories of the men and women of the Commonwealth forces that died in the First and Second World Wars who are buried in their community.\nCWGC believe that each one of those we commemorate were people like us\, with their own ambitions\, hopes\, and dreams.  It is our duty and privilege to care for their graves and memorials and through our charitable Foundation\, keep their stories alive.\nTours will take 75 minutes and are for a maximum of 10 people.
