SUMMARY:War Graves Week
DESCRIPTION:MEETING POINT is at the cemetery entrance. \nMidhurst Cemetery has 11 Commonwealth burials and 5 civilian burials from World War 1 and World War 2\, scattered throughout the churchyard including J C Garland\, one of four brothers killed serving in the RAF. \nThe tour lasts approx. 75 mins and covers about 500 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground. \nThere is parking available nearby. There are no facilities on site\, so please bring water if required. \nPlease come dressed for the weather and wear suitable footwear. \nOnly assistant dogs are allowed in the cemetery. \nPlease note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness\, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can\, but this could include the morning of the tour\, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour. \nThe Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF) aims to actively engage all communities with the work of the CWGC by telling the inspiring stories through education and outreach projects. \nThe CWGF is an independent charity registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (1171947) and Scotland (SC051982).
